I know a guy in Olney who was teaching at Eastern Illinois University on his way to a doctorate, I believe, in art. He was expelled after getting caught graffiting.
[crispy says: WHAAAAAAAAA?! That's shocking. I can't believe they'd expel someone for that. Wow.]

Well, you know, it's a crime. And he was an art guy, bringing additional shame.
He was probably also intoxicated, like any art guy.
[crispy says: But generally, it is considered misdemeanor vandalism, so it surprises me that one would be expelled, unless they consider it like using your art as a weapon, and that is somehow a betrayal of the high value society gives artists.]
