Yes, We Have No Water (Revisited Again)
Sigh.
Once again we have a sign on our door telling us that the building is out of water. We had some left in the tank before we left for dinner tonight, but upon returning home after midnight, the tap was dry.
This is getting really old.
I don't know if we can get water delivered by truck tomorrow because it's Sunday.

Perhaps more maddening than not having water for three days is the fact that we had some today for about 20 minutes, then it ran out.

UPDATE: Sunday came and we had no water. On Monday, we had water until about 2 pm, then nothing until Tuesday afternoon. It's Thursday now and we've had water pretty consistently since Tuesday afternoon.
There was a notice from the colonos this afternoon acknowledging the problem (this time it was a problem for several people in the neighborhood) and promising they are doing all they can to fix it. Yesterday there were guys drilling into the concrete in the road in front of our building, but today it doesn't look like anything is going on. Maybe it's all fixed. Maybe?
If nothing else, maybe they'll get it squared away while we're in Puerto Vallarta next week.

What do you do with no water? I guess you could just drink beer or soda all day. Can you brush your teeth with beer?
[crispy says: The water we ran out of is not the kind for drinking, but rather, the kind used for showering and flushing the toilet. I suspect one could brush ones teeth with beer, but I bet it's NASTY. :) ]
